Children can play vet with their Crafty Pony!
The fully illustrated booklet, checked by vets, explains how a vet sutures a real pony's cut leg and the equipment used. The set includes a syringe (no needle) for injecting Crafty Pony with sedative/tetanus/antibiotics, gauze pads for cleaning and dressing the wound, a plastic suture needle, and a vet bandage wrap to apply to the wound to keep it clean.
Children learn by role-playing that a real pony can be treated if they get a wound. This helps build confidence, skills and dexterity.
Contents: Fleece bandage with Velcro, fleece dressing pads, hospital quality syringe, plastic toy needle, 3 x gauze wound wipes, 3 x wound dressings.
Suitable for children over 6 years or remove the plastic needle for younger children.
Add your own safety scissors and yarn for the suture material.
